The Doge’s Palace Queue is digital art, the queue drawn with a Wacom pen and graphics tablet in Corel Painter over an edited photo of my cutout of my drawing of the Doge’s Palace, Venice. 8th April 2018.
I made the cut-out for an etching workshop. I liked it so much that I couldn’t resist getting rid of the gondola, and sketching in this queue of interesting-looking people! The people, of course, totally obscure the view of St Mark’s and if you’ve been to Venice you’ll know what that’s like!
